I’m a huge fan of this one!! Her rib, body, build and muscle are all in a special realm. She catches your eye every time you walk by her pen. She raised the popular Division 4 Champion from the Kansas Junior Livestock Show for Kylar Lee this year, and his twin brother will be shown in Oklahoma soon. We’ve retained two daughters. She did remark on 10/24 to Rank, so she wasn’t far enough along to confirm a pregnancy on ultrasound day. She will sell as exposed. I had planned on her being Lot 1 all along, because she’s that kind of good. So we’ll roll with it, someone is going to end up with a really good female.
This bold made, wide structured, soft bodied gal came to us via Dave Wolf. She’s the product of one of his highly successful Impact donors. I asked nicely (nineteen times) if Dave would sell a female out of her in 2014, and this one was my pick! She has worked well bred to everything I’ve mated her to. We retained a Groundswell, and a Road Rage daughter. We sold a wether out of her for $2900 through the Fall Upgrade a couple years back. She’s not one I planned to sell, but wanted to make sure this set was deep. She hasn’t been bred to Rank before, these could be special!
We’re offering top shelf stuff through this sale, this is one I’d love to hang on too, but have to offer quality to draw your attention. She is tremdously stout featured, big footed, big legged, super hampy and has tons of muscle. She lambed for the first time in January this year, and had a super cool BLUE SHEEP out of Rank. I ran her back the same way, expecting some cool made big boned ones!
7155 is out of one of our very best ewe families. Megan bought her grandmother from Jeff Repasky 8ish years ago at Reno and anything that goes back to that ewe has been a great producer. This one is good looking, and great touching. She had a single male that sold for 1800 through our May wether sale and is currently on feed in Texas. We have a pile of Road Rage ewes at this point or this one would not be available. Take advantage!
This is a good sized, stout made Drifter ewe. Her top is very big and her skin is excellent. She has a march born ewe lamb from this year in our keeper pen. This is absolutely the right kind to take to Road Rage!
We’re dipping into places I really shoudn’t now. This is a good looking, stout featured young ewe that is yet to lamb for us. All of the Chuckle daughters had dang good ones in 2018. 7148 was young and didn’t lamb, so I truly don’t know what I’m letting go of. At this point I am pretty sure I will miss her.
These are the ones that will make the money! She’s not going to jump out at you, but this Drifter is just super complete. She’s bred to lamb in January again, with twins. Her lambs are always good looking and great handling, Rank will add the rest of the bells and whistles!
This ewe was a late spring lamb in 2015, so she lambed for the first time in 2017. The ewe she had that year is amung the best we have kept as replacements. Her wether in 2018 was a cool looking big hipped devil that sold to New Mexico and was reserve at his county fair. 5124 is arrogant fronted, shallow, round ribbed and good bodied.
Here is another good young Road Rage female. She lambed in April and her Rank wether is on feed in Oklahoma. My chips are in the on the road rage ewes at this point. We’ve lambed the 2017’s once and it was easy to see that I will be able to count on them for good looking, hampy, big muscled production going forward.
This is the final Brickyard daughter for sale this year! She is a flushmage to our high seller at the Premier Bred Ewe Sale two weeks ago. She has made countless high quality sheep for us over the years. As recent as 2017 and 2018 her wethers won counties in Kansas and Colorado!
